Chronic Lyme Guidance

I'm often asked how I managed chronic Lyme disease. Instead of focusing on eliminating it completely, I believe the key is empowering both the body and mind to keep it under control.

Some health experts believe that everyone carries Lyme disease, along with Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV), parasites, and Candida. For most people, their immune system is able to keep these pathogens in check.

However, in certain individuals, a 'perfect storm' of health issues can arise, causing imbalances that make it difficult for the body to control these pathogens and the symptoms they trigger.

In order to restore balance in the body—by reducing pathogens, healing the organs, and retraining the brain to remember how to be healthy—here’s what I currently recommend:

  • View Dr. Marty Ross’ information or this eBook. Also consider reading his book, Hacking Lyme Disease.

  • Find a clinic that does Ozone IV’s. The 10-pass ozone IV’s are most effective but the regular ozone IV’s will do. Most naturopathic clinics will encourage you to spends tens of thousands at their clinic. I’d highly suggest just doing the ozone IV’s and consider doing the other suggestions I share on this page.

  • Take herbs daily for 3-6 months. I’m currently developing a multi-cleanse herbal formula that addresses viruses, bacteria, candida and parasites. But, for now, consider using the Cowden protocol.

  • OR, as a more affordable alternative to using the Cowden protocol, consider using an essential oil blend. Mix 2 oz of olive oil and 20 drops each of thyme, oregano, cinnamon, clove, and frankincense essential oils. (Purchase from Mountain Rose Herbs.) Start slow by taking 3 drops, in a capsule, once a day. Then work your way up to taking 3 drops three times a day to taking 8-10 drops at a time, three times a day for 3-6 months at a time.

  • Restore the gut. I would suggest going gluten free. Use KPV by Integrative Peptides for a few weeks. Then start using Larazotide from BioLabshop.com. I’d suggest taking these peptides for 4-12 weeks. And take Now Food Probiotic -10 Bifido boost before bed.

  • Get cellular support by taking an NAD+ supplement. Rho liposomals is a good option. And I’d suggest taking a glutathione supplement -Rho Nutrition is good or Results RNA would be a good option.

  • Support MTHFR gene mutation by taking DMG twice a day - starting slow. Taking a creatine and choline supplement also helps support MTHFR pathways. Once those pathways are supported, the body can better handle taking B vitamins. I recommend Dr. Purser’s MTHFR Daily supplement - start slow with 1/4 capsule once a day, increasing the dosage every few days to recommended dosage.

  • Reduce inflammation by taking an Omega 3 supplement and Olive oil (1 tsp.) twice a day. And by doing an infrared sauna/sauna blanket several times per week or even once a day. Taking a liposomal curcumin would also be helpful.

  • Get “deep nutrition” by addressing nutritional deficiencies (found through doing blood work). And by taking beef organs blend daily/twice a day. Avoid beef liver/organs if you have high levels of copper.

  • Also consider taking Amino Acids by Hardy Nutritionals to help give the body the building blocks to repair itself.

  • And take a fulvic/humic blend - starting slow! - by only using 3 drops per day, working your way up to using 1 tsp. per day.

  • Take basic daily supplements like vitamin D, vitamin C, and Magnesium. And a multi-vitamin if you aren’t taking the organs blend.

  • Support the adrenals which, more than likely, will need support with the amount of stress the body has been dealing with. Our Adrenal Support formula is a good one. Or use Gaia Herbs brand daily adrenal support.

  • Along with doing all of the above recommendations, I’d highly recommend doing the Gupta Program. This, in my opinion, is a must. This program is very effective at helping to pull people out of chronic illnesses by retraining the brain. (This is backed by third party studies.)

  • Last but not least, the basics will make a difference. Get fresh air and sunshine and stand with your bare feet on the grass or dirt at least 20 minutes a day. Do light, daily exercises. Consider doing deep breathing exercises to increase oxygen in the body in the morning. (Look up Wim Hof or Pranayama.) Find ways to reduce stress in your life. And do things, even little things, that bring you joy in your heart and soul. I personally really like doing regular body oil massages where I massage oils onto my skin on my entire body, before going to bed, a few times a week. This helps reduce overall inflammation throughout the body - especially the nervous system. Simply use olive oil or use Banyan’s body massage oil.

I hope these suggestions help! I currently don’t do consults. Please consider doing the above steps or doing either of the two helpmeets shared below - and consult your doctor while doing so.

With love and care,

Claudia

Two additional helpmeets to help you on your healing journey…

First, I’ve put together a simple guide for doing a Gentle Detox. Just as plants and nature need time to grow, lose leaves, overcome disease and regrow, I believe that our body also needs to be dealt with gently, especially when detoxing.

If you’d like to receive my Gentle Detoxing Guide to help you along your healing journey, please enter your email down below and it will be sent to you shortly.

Second, I am in the process of creating an affordable, in-depth course that explains the steps I recommend for overcoming chronic illnesses. The information is what I have used to help restore mine and my children’s chronic health conditions. Once this course is available, you can view the information for this course at this link.

I wish you the best on your path of healing. I genuinely hope that some of the things I’ve shared will help you along the way.
